One of Australia's most exciting and diverse young actors, Aaron Glenane will next be seen in the lead role of Chook in the survival thriller Killing Ground which had its international premiere at the Sundance Film Festival 2017. After Variety praised it "a white knuckle thriller (with) a solid hour of effective buildup to a duly hair raising climax" it will be distributed by IFC Midnight in the USA and Mushroom Pictures in Australia throughout 2017.

Gaining national and international attention for his performance as Gus in Drift, Aaron recently starred alongside Academy Award winners Robert Redford and Cate Blanchett in James Vanderbilt's political drama Truth. His other film credits include Bucko in The Black Balloon starring Toni Colette, a lead motion capture artist in George Miller's Happy Feet 2, and the 2013 Tropfest fan favourite Ca$h Cow.

His television credits include starring as "The Godfather of Australian Rock 'N' Roll," Mushroom Records founder, Michael Gudinski in the Channel 7 ratings smash hit Molly. He played a major supporting role in the highly acclaimed World War I mini-series Deadline Gallipoli alongside Sam Worthington, Hugh Dancy and Charles Dance. Aaron's other television credits include Old School, Puberty Blues, Janet King, Tricky Business, Packed to the Rafters, Rescue Special Ops and Home and Away. He also appeared in the UKTV telemovie Dripping in Chocolate alongside David Wenham.

Originally from rural Victoria, Aaron is an accomplished stage actor and dancer, having performed in Dein Perry's Tap Dogs, The Boy From Oz and Journeys End. Most recently, Aaron appeared as Doug in Gruesome Playground Injuries, Phillip in Lyle Kessler's Orphans at The Old Fitz Theatre and Jack in Darlinghurst Theatre Company's production of Ride & Fourplay.
