On Earth, inexplicably, people begin to come from the sea. In Oslo, people intermittently come from the sea and mix with society. People from different periods try to preserve the characteristics of the period they belong to while living in the current order. Meanwhile, a corpse is found on the beach where people come out. Authorities believe that the female body they found came from ancient times. A detective from the Viking era and a detective living today are sent to investigate this event.
