The Old Man series, starring veteran actor Jeff Bridges, begins on June 16. The series, whose promotional video and poster are also published, will be screened on FX, one of the US cable channels.

The project, prepared by Jon Steinberg, known for the Black Sails TV series, and Robert Levine, is based on the novel of the same name by Thomas Perry. Dan Chase (Bridges) retired from the CIA years ago and has led a quiet life. However, an emerging assassin causes him to face his past and return to work for his future.

The series stars John Litgow, Alia Shawkat, E.J. Bonilla, Gbenga Akinnagbe, Amy Brenneman also take part. It is produced by 20th Television and The Littlefield Company.
