In The Tearsmith, two troubled teenagers, Nica and Rigel, find themselves in the care of the same family after surviving the cruelty of an abusive orphanage. Their lives are filled with dark and frightening memories. They must put aside their differences and walk a new path together, but their toxic love could destroy them.
Because of the revealing nature of their love for each other, Nica and Rigel are plagued by self-doubt. As their unquestionable bond deepens, they are forced to face their own demons and make difficult decisions. United by an invisible bond, they seek solace in each other and forge their own path in the face of adversity.
The trailer introduces us to two main characters, two young people who share a history of abuse at the Grave orphanage. One finds solace in the folklore of a mysterious artisan who can produce tears, while the other loses himself in music as a means of processing his traumatic experiences.
