Based on Patricia Highsmith’s novel The Talented Mr. Ripley, the series will follow Tom Ripley and his relationship with Dickie Greenleaf and Marge Sherwood. Tom is a struggling con man living in New York City who uses his duplicitous skills of forgery and impersonation to make a living. By chance, he meets Herbert Greenleaf, a well-known and wealthy shipbuilder who asks for Tom’s help in retrieving his son Dickie, who lives in Italy. Tom seizes the opportunity and tracks Dickie down, but becomes obsessed with befriending the rich boy and becoming part of his luxurious lifestyle. However, Tom’s intentions are opposed by Dickie’s close friend Marge, who falls in love with him.

Given that the story is a psychological thriller, audiences will be fascinated by the tension and twisted dynamics between Tom, Dickie and Marge.
